About Garima Dang – Rehab & Strength Coach in Calgary

Strength. Power. Resilience. Built for Real Life.

Personal Training & Rehab Coaching in Calgary — helping busy adults, seniors, and new moms move pain-free, grow stronger, and regain confidence in their bodies.

Hi, I’m Garima Dang, a Calgary-based Strength, Active, and Rehab Coach specializing in in-home personal training for individuals with sports injuries, mobility limitations, joint pain, soft-tissue dysfunction, and postpartum strength recovery.
My approach blends evidence-based strength training with rehab-informed movement, mobility work, and long-term injury prevention. I work one-on-one with clients in their homes to help them move better, build sustainable strength, and regain confidence in their bodies at any stage of life.

I believe strength training should be safe, personalized, and empowering, especially when recovering from injury, navigating pregnancy or postpartum changes, or returning to movement after time away. My goal is to help clients feel capable, resilient, and confident in their bodies again.

Why I Do This

I’ve seen too many people told to “just rest,” “avoid lifting,” or “push through pain” without addressing the root cause of their limitations. Over time, this leads to more discomfort, less confidence in movement, and a growing fear of strength training.

My philosophy is simple: strength is a tool for healing, not something to avoid. When programmed correctly, strength training improves joint health, restores mobility, and builds resilience, especially after injury, during postpartum recovery, or as we age.

I focus on teaching clients how to move well first, then progressively build strength in a way that feels safe, sustainable, and empowering. The goal isn’t quick fixes, it’s long-term independence, confidence, and a body that supports your life rather than limits it.
